Aaron Xenos Minghelli, age 45, born and raised in Folsom, California, journeyed through Lancaster, California, and Raleigh, North Carolina, before settling in Wichita, Kansas, to be close to his beloved son.
Aaron carried forward a proud family legacy in concrete work, following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather Alfonso, his grandfather Edward, and his father Ron. As a construction superintendent, he was known for his skill, work ethic, and leadership, building not just structures, but lasting relationships along the way.
Aaron was kind, intelligent, and deeply generous. He had a heart that saw people for who they were and gave freely, often offering his last dollar to someone who needed it more. His compassion and humor made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Minghelli.
Nothing brought Aaron greater joy in life than being a father to his son, Xane Minghelli. Aaron loved being a dad. His pride and love for Xane were endless, and he truly cherished every moment they shared.
Aaron leaves behind his mother Mary Wayne, his brother Ronnie Minghelli, his sisters Jocelyn Wayne and Carly Nickerson (brother-in-law Chris Nickerson), and his stepmother Debra Hollis Minghelli. He was also a devoted uncle, “Unkie Aaron” to his nephew Christopher Nickerson and nieces Tanner Minghelli, Parker Minghelli, Maya Nickerson, Charlotte Nickerson, and Zendaya Nickerson, always bringing laughter and light with his silly antics and big heart.
Aaron’s loyal sidekick, his dog Blu, remained faithfully by his side, not ready to let go of his best friend.
Aaron’s legacy lives on through the love he gave, the people he touched, and the family he adored. His memory will forever be a reminder of kindness, generosity, and the joy of living with an open heart.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
