Alfreda Amber Perez

Alfreda was a quiet, kind, and loving Mother, Grandmother, and friend, who enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked playing checkers and other games with her grandchildren. She dominated in Bingo and liked getting her nails painted with the ladies on nail day.

Alfreda enjoyed going to book club to listen to the stories and she would occasionally sing along to one of her favorite songs, (mainly Elvis), and we can't forget how much a classic movie would make her smile.

On the weekends, she would enjoy going to church sermons and singing the songs. Alfreda loved having family around, or giving comfort to those of us who needed it. She always put others first because she couldn't stand to see anyone upset or hurting. She would rather make people laugh than see them cry.

She is survived by: her children, Martin Perez, Alfredo Perez, Maria Marti, Tony Perez, and Jennifer Swindler; her grandchildren, Kirstin Saathoff, Keri Perez, Mario Perez, Tyler Marti, Emily Marti, Jacob Marti, Lexi Perez, Lawrence Swindler, Brook Swindler, and Dean Swindler; along with 3 great-grandchildren, Theodore Saathoff, Eliana Mehigan, and Cooper Mehigan.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM ~ 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2025; Funeral Service will be held 9:30 AM on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, both at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 4408 West Central Avenue, Wichita, Kansas 67212. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Wichita.
