Barbara J. McCool

Barbara Jean McCool, age 85, retired preschool assistant passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 54 years, Marlin McCool. Barbara enjoyed camping, doing arts and crafts; she loved to cook for her family, going shopping, particularly at Antique Malls/Shops, Hobby Lobby and was known to be called, "Mrs. Cool" by her preschool kids. Survived by her sons, Scott (Fawn) McCool and Tim McCool (Rhonda Still); daughter, Michelle (Rick) Wilson; sister, Betty Moore; and grandchildren, Traci Scott McCool, Kyle Allen McCool, Katie Lynn McCool, Morgan (Isaac) Salazar, Shawn Marshall McCool, Ian J. Wilson and Abigail G. Wilson. Visitation from 9am-12:30pm on Saturday, December 19, 2020 with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Memorials can be made in Barbara's memory to Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptist for mission work.
