Bennie Ray Wilson, age 88, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 with family present. Bennie was born November 21, 1933. He was in the United States Army and was a devoted husband and father. Bennie liked fishing and hunting and was a sharp shooter. Bennie loved the Lord and was dedicated to his church and family. He was a true man of character and honesty. The family appreciates all his hard work and dedication of 68 years.
Bennie was preceded by his parents Charlie and Alice Wilson; son Shelby and daughter-in-law Gail; sisters Doye, Daph and Jonnie; brothers Shelby, Logan, Earnest, J.V and Shelton.
He is survived by wife of 68 years Francill; son Gary (Karen); grandchildren April (Harvey) Buckley; great-grandchildren Allison, William; great-great-grandchild Josie; and beloved dog Buddy.
Visitation will be held 4-7pm with family present 4-6pm, Wednesday February 23rd at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service will be held 1pm, Thursday, February 24th at Midway Baptist Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
