Betty M. Kelly

Kelly, Betty M. (Parrish), 94, retired secretary at Beech Aircraft, homemaker, passed away August 23, 2015. Betty was a gentle spirit who encouraged all around her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty was a member of Cedar Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob Kelly; parents, Lafe and Helen Parrish; brothers, Jack (Eleanor) Parrish, Dale (Eileen) Parrish; niece, Karen Spurlock and nephew, Steve Parrish. She is survived by her son, Robert (Jo) “Bob” Kelly; daughters, Melinda (Terry) Beavers, Glenda Allison; grandchildren, Jenny (Darrin) Stone, John (Nadia) Beavers, Hannah (Branson) Sears of Wichita, Emma (Riley) Hamilton, Renee Allison, Claire (Michael) McAllister of Berryville, AR, Brian, Scott, Sarah Kelly of Topeka; nephews, Larry (Mary) Parrish of Falls City, NE, Mike Parrish of Seattle, WA and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation is 12 to 1 pm with funeral service at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 27 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The Lord’s Diner. Our beloved “Granny Gran” who we loved, cherished and miss…best Granny ever.
