

Beverly went to her heavenly home on September 2, 2025. She was born in E St Louis IL on May 14,1946. She later married her lifelong love, Joseph (JL) Robison. They made his family’s farm in Mill Shoals IL their home for more than 20 years, later moving to Hoyleton, then Mt Vernon IL. In 2005 they pulled up their roots and moved to SC. In 2013 her husband of forty-four years went to be with the Lord. She remained in S.C. until 2024 when she returned to Mt Vernon for a brief time, before finally settling in Wichita KS to be near her only sister.
After graduating from life on the farm, Beverly spent most of her life working as a CNA and formed special bonds with many of those she cared for. Her strong will and perseverance were two of her amazing qualities. Giving up was not in her vocabulary. Despite being legally blind due to Macular Degeneration, she remained independent and continued her care-giving career until 2024 at the age of 78.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband JL, her parents Bart and Dorothy Churchwell, and her two brothers Charlie and Jimmy Balling.
Surviving are her son Joe Robison (Monica), and daughter Erica Scarber (Danny), and sister Charlene Bolin (Gerald). She also leaves behind grandchildren Aaron Scarber, Averie Scarber, Nikki Baker (Robert), Alicia Jones (David) ,and Amber Davis. Great Grandchildren Carsyn, Lily, and Bryleigh Jones, Alexis and Ryleigh Baker, Jaeda Grainger, and baby Brixton who is on the way. Nieces and nephews Verna Gutierrez (Dennis), Dottie Sedbolt (Josh), and George Smith (Chrissy).
