Bobbie Sue Goldberg, age 78, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 31, 1946, in Mattoon, Illinois, Bobbie was the daughter of Robert Arthur and Beatrice (Richards) Goldberg.
Bobbie graduated from Southeast High School in Wichita, Kansas, in 1963. She went on to work as an Administrative Assistant for various businesses and non-profit organizations, most recently Wichita Area Technical College.
She was married to Stephen A. Evans in Wichita, Kansas in June 1963 and was married for 13 years. Later in life, she found happiness with her partner of 11 years, John "Mike" Cheesman.
She most loved spending time with her family and her beloved pets, which over the years included her Yorkie, Teddy; cat, Tinkerbell; and cat, Baxter.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert Arthur Goldberg and Beatrice (Richards) Goldberg.
Bobbie is survived by her partner, John Michael Cheesman; her children, Michelle (Evans) May (Robert J.) and Steven Evans (Tammy); and her grandchildren, Jake R. Evans, Kenny R. Evans, Tess C. Evans, Robert C. May, and Mary May-Adams (Kari); and her beloved cat, Baxter.

A visitation for Bobbie will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Mortuary and a graveside service will occur Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, the Garden of Freedom (Large Eagle), 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
