A heart felt farewell to my friend Jim.  And my sincere wishes of condolence to Kaye and family.

Dear Family & Friends of Jim, A memorial was set up for Jim at Eagle Valley Raptor Center in Cheney, Jim was a huge lover of Bald Eagles. We have made plans to have a plaque made and huge above the entrance door to the Eagle's Enclosure. To date no one has sent a memorial to Eagle Valley in Jim's Honor. We want to make sure this is something that everyone wants.

I am Jims first Cousin, Deborah Watkins, The second child of Bob Watkins.  Seldom have I seen Jim in my lifetime, although when I met him at the age of 10 I felt his presence, kindness, and loving ways.  He was 20 years old at the time and had recently enlisted in the Navy.  There he was in his Navy Whites, a tall and handsome red headed man who looked so much like the Watkins family.  I have this picture of Jimmy in my mind and heart, which is how I shall always remember him.  A gentle giant of a man. Love you Jimmy...Deborah Watkins Nicole(Portland Oregon)

Darla Kaye, my heart is filled with sadness for you & your family! Our carefree days of childhood have faded into the realities of adulthood! May you soon find the rainbow of memories through your tears as the sun again peeps through  in your heart! My thoughts, prayers & hugs surround you & your family! Fondly, Maggie

Though I can't be there in person to pay my respects to this fine giant of a fellow, I wish to send my love and prayers to his children in this time of loss and sorrow. Jim was always so warm and sweet. We will all miss him deeply. God Bless his Soul.

The world lost a true hero in Jim. He not only loved and served his country, but he was a lover of animals and Wildlife including our National Symbol the Bald Eagle. A sign acknowledging Jim will be proudly displayed at Eagle Valley Raptor Center above our Bald Eagle Enclosure Entrance. Thank You Jim, you will be missed by many.

May the comfort of God guide you thru this time of sorrow. Love you aunt Sheri.

I worked for Jim at the Spot and he and the old place bring back warm memories. He was a good guy with a great sense of humor. My condolences to the family and all of the friends and Spot family. Godspeed, Jim!
