Carole Ann Young

Carole Ann Young, Age 75, was taken unexpectedly Dec. 1, 2018. She was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby and retired from Boeing. Carole was an avid League bowler who frequented North Rock Lanes and Derby Bowl. She enjoyed online shopping, playing Words with Friends, and was an excellent cook. Above all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Young; parents, Burtis and Jewell Park; and brothers, Danny and Jerry Park. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Joe) Moss of Derby and Kelly Black of Branson, MO; grandchildren, Jessica Moss, Connor Lee, and Ringo; great-granddaughter, Laykynn Moss; and sister, Debbie (Bob) Chippeaux. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Mon. Dec. 10, 2018 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory's Garden of the Gospels.
