

Carolyn Carmean Bradley passed on May 22, 2014. She is survived by two children, Ginny Senchack and Mark Bradley, and four grandchildren, Nicole Senchack, Lauren Senchack, Sean Bradley, and Lincoln Bradley. She was last living in Georgetown, Texas, where her eldest daughter resides. Carolyn was born to Gladys Newell and Carl Klement Carmean in Joplin, Missouri in 1929, residing in Carthage, Missouri. She attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas where she met the love of her life, David Bradley. They wedded in 1950 and moved to Wichita, Kansas where they had two children, Ginny and Mark. There they lived until the sudden and premature passing of David. Carolyn continued living in Wichita with her close and life-long friends until she relocated to Georgetown, Texas in 2011 to be closer to her eldest daughter. She continued to enjoy her favorite pastime of bridge with her new Texan friends at the Wesleyan at Estrella until her sudden illness. Her curiosity and independent spirit will be fondly remembered by those she left behind. Her family will miss her dearly and know she is finally with David, again. Carolyn was a sustaining member of the Wichita Junior League. She and Dave enjoyed playing tennis at the Wichita Racquet Club and Wichita Country Club. They traveled extensively until his death. Carolyn carried on in her travels until moving to Texas. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Sat. June 21, 2014 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St., Wichita, KS., followed by a Celebration of Carolyn’s Life at Chester’s Chophouse, 1550 N.
