Cox, Carolyn Jean (Calvin) 81, died August 21, 2015, at Via Christi Hospital, Wichita. She was born February 15, 1934, at Winfield, the daughter of Ralph Calvin and Pauline (Calvin) Clifton. She graduated from Winfield High School. She married Joseph E. Cox February 24, 1954. She worked at Cessna Aircraft, Westcon and Rose America Corporation until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; and brother, Jerold Ray Calvin. Survivors include her five children, Joan Kathleen (Ron) Maddox, Joseph E. Cox, Jr., Paula Jean Cox, Norma Elaine Cox and Jodie Lynn (Jaime) Taber, all of Wichita; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister Kathy (Leon) Payne of New Strawn; half-sister, Velma Faye Bradford of Oregon; sister-in-law, Lola Calvin of Winfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be at 3 PM Wednesday, August 26, at Resthaven Chapel, 11800 W. Kellogg Ave., Wichita. The family will meet with friends at 5-7 PM Tuesday at Resthaven Mortuary.
