Cecilia K. Hedgpeth, 89, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband Maurice, son Ron Jones, sisters Mildred Coleman, Lorraine Hodson, Virginia George, Jean Hinkle and brother Leonard Peavler.
Cecilia was a material clerk at Boeing for 16 years before going to work for the State of Kansas in the Health & Rehabilitation Department as a secretary. There she won numerous accommodations for her work ethics, including being named secretary of the year.
Survived by daughters Marsha (Mic) Fields, Debra Jones, son Dan (Gwen) Jones, daughter-in-law Maggie Jones, step-daughter Vicki (David) Lefler, Karen (Tommy) Jaramillo, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family present, 2-3pm, Sun. June 15th at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary.
Rosary, 7pm, Mon. June 16th, Mass of Christian Burial, 10am, Tues. June 17th both at St. Anne Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
