Ferguson, Chandra Marie Vera, 33, volunteer for the Mental Health Association, joined her heavenly family October 14th, 2014. Chandra was a loving person. She touched many lives and hearts in her lifetime with her strong willed, affectionate, and forgiving personality. She was an advocate for her family and friends. She would not hesitate to stick up for someone when she saw that they were mistreated or wronged. Chandra was actively involved in Wichita’s 12 Step Recovery programs and was studying psychology so she could further help to heal her community. She loved to bead, go fishing, and she cared very deeply for her “fur babies”. Chandra is preceded in death by her father, Marlin French; and her sister, Miki French; and she is survived by mother, Sharon French; sisters, Yvonne Paschke, Janette Warner, and Jessica Ford; brothers, Steven French and Jeff Snyder; soul-mate, Wilson Hoog; and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at Advantage Funeral Chapel 4408 West Central Avenue.
