Chitanavong, Chanthao, 88 passed away on Sun., Dec. 7, 2014. He was born June 1, 1926 in Laos. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, eating ice cream, and going fishing. Chitanavong came to the United States in 1984, bringing his two sons and four daughters to join him after arriving and setting in Wichita. He will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. Chitanavong was preceded by his wife, Thep, and is survived by his sons Phetsamay, Christopher; daughters Khammone Salyvanhnara, Vilay Chitanavong, Gayle Phothirat, Sam Chitanavong; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Visitation 3-4 p.m. followed by Prayer Services 4-5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, December 12-13, 2014. Funeral Service 1-4 p.m. Sunday, all at Lakeview Funeral Home.
