Christy graduated from Circle High School in Towanda, Kansas.
She is preceded in death by her brother John Lorei, step father Lloyd Berney, grandparents Fred and Ruth Lorei and Roy and Lucille Wadsack plus numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
Left to mourn her passing are her mother Janet Berney of Benton, Kansas, father Gary (Sandy) Lorei of Haysville, Kansas; sisters, Rachel Lorei, Deanna (Brad) Chirnside of Punta Gorda, Florida, and brother Steven Berney, niece Sophia Berney, and nephew Steven Berney, all of Benton, Kansas.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
