Connie Lou Valle

Connie Lou Valle, passed on March 16, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on April 5, 1947 in Independence, Kansas, the daughter of Joseph F. and Norma L. (Shaffer) Winkleman. Connie was the oldest of seven kids, she was the oldest, and helped take care of her younger siblings.

She loved her family fiercely and fought hard to continue spending time with them. She was witty, ornery, and loved big. A highlight of her life was family reunions. She enjoyed reuniting with her siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She loved gardening, fishing, and being outdoors. She also enjoyed going to the casino to play slots.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Emigdio.

Survivors include her daughters, Pam and husband, Bert Parker, Patricia Hall; grandsons, Christopher Parker, Corey Hall; siblings, Carol and husband, Phil Barker, Charles and wife, Cleta Winkleman, Carl and wife, Kathleen Winkleman, Cheryl and husband, Jerry Burnett, Joseph Jr. "Tub" and partner, Carol Winkleman, Coleen Moore; numerous nieces, nephews, who she adored and lots of cousins.

A gathering will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Friday, March 20, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita.
