Cuburn "CV" Parish

Parish, Cuburn “CV”, 91, retired Beechcrafter of Wichita, KS passed away on Fri. Dec. 5, 2014. Cuburn was born in Damascus, Arkansas on Sept. 15, 1923 the son of Olen and Bettie Parish. CV and Dorothy Parish were united in marriage on Sept. 6, 1946 in Heber Springs, AR. Together they celebrated 63 years and 7 months of marriage. He retired from Beech Aircraft after 35 years of service. CV enjoyed woodworking, car mechanics and being with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy, brother, Eudean Parish, sister, Vaughtaleen Kennedy. Survivors include his loving daughter, Debbie Carlson and husband Scott of Atwood, KS, 2 grandchildren, Shane Carlson and wife Jody of Atwood, KS and Sydney Carlson of Hastings, NE and 2 great-grandchildren, Trey and McKylie Carlson of Atwood, KS, sister-in-law, Betty Parish of Searcy, AR, nephew, Donnie Parish and wife Kristy of Searcy, AR, niece, Patricia Hartwick and husband Bogan of Guy, AR. Visitation will be held on Wed. Dec. 10, 2014 from 12 to 1pm. Funeral services for CV will be at 1pm on Wed. Dec. 10, 2014 both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Crossroads Baptist Church, 11441 E. Central Ave., Wichita, KS 67206 where he attended church.
