Deborah D. Finch, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the age of 72. Deborah was born on August 14, 1953, in Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Charles Wilburn Finch and Virginia Estelle Pritchett (Hook).
She was a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant for over 40 years, serving at multiple locations around the Wichita area. Her most recent job was at WalMart, where she worked as a Fashion Team Associate. She worked there for five years, and was most proud of working for two years alongside her granddaughter, Honesty. Her family tried to convince her to stop working, but she enjoyed staying busy.
Deborah enjoyed doing puzzle books when she was not working or spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Talaya Finch; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Marcus Finch, Robert Eugene Finch, Shyeva Shields; grandchildren, Xavier Loyd, Sherica Finch, Antonae M. Morrison, Arriana M. Watson, Amaria M. Finch, Honesty Beaton, Josiah Butler, Makayla Shields; great grandchildren, Zy’Air and Domi’Air Jones.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita. Interment will follow at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi.
Memorial donations may be made to the Finch Family Trust, in care of the funeral home.
