Rice, Dennis W., 68, passed away on June 3, 2017. He was born to John and Lillian Rice on November 22, 1948 in Oswego, KS. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara; sons John (Karen) D. Rice, Claude (Stacy) E. Rice III; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas Immenshuh, Isaac, Dakota, Abigail, Sophia, Lillian, Aden and Jackson Rice; 6 sisters Norma Dukes, Mary Jane George, Debby (Wade) Richards, Virginia (Melvin) Query, Barbara (Duaine) Quan and Dorothy (Lee) Hursey; 2 brothers, Jerry Rice and Terry (Donna Jo) Rice. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, sister Francis; and 5 brothers Jimmy Allen Rice, Donnie Hulse, Billie Hulse, Johnny Jr. Rice and Claude Rice. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5-7pm; Funeral service will be Thursday, June 8, at 10am both at Lakeview.
