Dolores E. Linnebur

Dolores E. Linnebur, 90, passed away on January 18, 2026, after a hard-fought and courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 12, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of George and Agnes (Kraus) Landwehr.

Dolores lived and went to local schools in Goddard, Kansas.

Dolores devoted her life to raising her children while her husband traveled for work. She assisted at her children's schools along with the Girl and Boy Scouts of America. Dolores volunteered at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and St. Teresa Hospital. She will be remembered for her strength and unwavering faith. Her kindness left a lasting impression on all those who knew her and continues to live in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Jim; her siblings, Estella Keiter, Elmer Landwehr, Ralph Landwehr, Wilma May, Virgil Landwehr, and George Landwehr.

She is survived by: her son, Doug; her daughter, Denise Cox; granddaughter, Brittney Cox; her great-grandson, LJ Ratcliff, all in Wichita; along with her sister-in-laws, Joan (Hibbard) Davis, Mildred (Elmer) Landwehr, Alexis (George) Landwehr, and Rita (Ralph) Landwehr Neville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2026, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary being held 6:00 PM, all at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Lumen Christi Chapel, Ascension Living Via Christi Village, 3636 N. Ridge Rd., Wichita, KS 67205. Interment will follow with a procession to Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Freedom, Wichita.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been designated in Delores' name to: The Lord's Diner, 520 N. Broadway St., Wichita, KS 67214.
