Donald "Don" Forrester

Don retired as a machinist in the aircraft industry and proudly served in the United States Army. He was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, and champion flat-track motorcycle racer. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Vera and spending time with his family. Don loved Jesus Christ, his family and his country. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Zella Forrester; wife, Vera Forrester; and brother, Rene Forrester.

Don is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Tim) Randa; son, Scott (Susie) Forrester; four grandchildren (Stacy Lira, Alan Randa, Kimberly Forrester, Benjamin Forrester); three great-grandchildren (Karina Lira, Holden Randa, Dorian Randa); and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Funeral Service for Don will be held 2:00PM, Friday, July 12th, with visitation an hour prior from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow the service at Lakeview in the Mausoleum. 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
