Donald P. Russell

Donald Patrick Russell, 85, passed away May 31, 2018. Donald was born to parents, Robert and Mary Russell May 14, 1933, in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Cretin High School in St. Paul, MN, and served as a United States Army Medic. Donald later became the Vice President of Transamerica Finance and Division President of Borg Warner Acceptance Corp. and co-owner of 21st Street Furniture and Buddy's Pawn Shop. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Robert and John Russell. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Faviola; daughter, Martha (Dr. John) Devine of Manhattan, KS; sons, Richard (Cindy) Russell of Wichita, Robert (Gladys) Russell of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Emily, Joseph, Phillip John of Manhattan, KS, Cpl Denton Patrick of Washington, DC, Kady Ann,Valerie Ann of Wichita; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Kay) Russell of St. Paul, MN; sister, Mary (Gordan) McCoy of Rochester, NY. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Mon, June 4th and funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tues, June 5, 2018, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
