Decker, Dorothy, 75, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Mon., Jan. 8, 2018, in Wichita. Dorothy was born the daughter of Fred and Wilma (Kile) Mehl on April 9, 1942 in Wichita. Dorothy and Scott were united in marriage on July 7, 1967 in Wichita. Dorothy and Scott were longtime members of Church of Christ. She loved family, being social, traveling and meeting new people. She worked for 25 years as a paraprofessional at Dodge City Middle School. Survivors include her loving husband, Scott Decker, children, Carmen Lynn, Gary (Amy) Decker, grandsons, Dominick and Vaughn Decker, brothers, Douglas (Mary) Mehl and Norman (Nancy) Mehl. She was preceded in death by her parents. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 am, Sat., Jan. 13, 2018, at Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N. Meridian, Wichita. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Wichita at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Know Your Bible or Outreach Programs c/o Northside Church of Christ.
