Douglas A. Grant, of Wichita, Kansas passed away. Douglas was born May 30, 1943, in California to Kathleen M. Scully Grant and Howard S. Grant.

Doug served honorably in the 82 Airborne in the United States Army. He was a member of the Patriot Guard and was still riding into his 70's.

Doug loved the outdoors, fishing, Clay shooting, reading, and spending time with his neighbors.

Doug is survived by his son Travis Grant (Shellie); grandchildren Moriah Grant and Declan Grant (Gracie); and a great grandchild on the way.

Doug was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Grant; father Howard S. Grant; and mother Kathleen M. Scully Grant.

A private family service will be held at the Veterans' Cemetery in Winfield.
