Doyle G. Graham, 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Arlington, KS, Oct. 10, 2018. Doyle was born in West Plains, MO to James and Sadie Lillian (Lowry) Graham. He was the youngest of 7 children; Bertha, Beulah, Ross, Stan, John, and V.O. He served his country in the Korean War where he more than earned his freedom, sacrificing much more than his time for those he loved. Never missing an opportunity to serve others, he chose to open a barbershop, and later to work for the United States Postal Service, where he later retired. He married the love of his life, Carra (Matson) Graham. They had three children; Mike, Steve and Gerry. Doyle was a unique individual. He possessed the mind to enjoy a multitude of persuasions; the arts, outdoors, and of course, imparting his unparalleled spirit and enthusiasm on his family and friends. Throughout his life he was determined and compassionate; he embraced and conquered challenges with a seemingly effortless resolve. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carra Lee Graham; sons, Mike, Steve, and Gerry Graham; siblings, Bertha, Beulah, Ross, Stan, John; and half-brother, V.O. He is survived and eternally loved by: his wife, Bobbie; daughters-in-law, Lori, Brenda and Rhonda; grandchildren, Amy, Chad, Sarah (Tom), Michael, Jamie (Beau), Jared, and Meghan (Ted); and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Doyle's visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 12-4 with family receiving from 2-4 p.m. and funeral service on Monday, October 15, at10 a.m., both at Resthaven Mortuary. Memorials may be made to your Veteran's charity of choice in Doyle's name.
