Earl "Brownie" F. Brown, 90, died November 15, 2015. He was born February 25, 1925 in Garland, Ks., the son of the late Peter & Mattie Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances, 1 brother, 1 sister, 4 half brothers, and 2 half sisters. His survivors include his companion Sue Branscom, Hutchinson, Ks., Niece, Carolyn Miller and husband Gary Miller of Hesston, Ks., Alpha McMillian, Pitsburg, KS., many nieces and nephews. He was an army sargent in World War II. He was entered into the honor roll of the National World War II Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana on Nov. 17, 2010. He retired from Boeing after 35 years. He was a member of North Star Masonic Lodge #168, Eastern Star, Midian Shrine and Yorkrite. Graveside service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery 1:00 p.m. Nov. 18th, 2015.
