Eddie C. Conway II

Eddie C. Conway II, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born on October 14, 1966, Eddie was the son of Eddie Clarence Conway I and Patricia Jean Conway (née Gilmore).

He graduated from Heights High School in Wichita and dedicated his life to hard work. Most of his career was spent in concrete construction, where he poured pavement for new homes. Over the years, he also worked at Boeing, Spirit AeroSystems, and Frito-Lay, always bringing a strong work ethic and commitment to every job.

In August 1996, Eddie married Michelle Fulco, and they shared many years together until 2003. Eddie was known for his love of sports—he was a huge NASCAR fan, a devoted Steelers football fan, and an avid basketball enthusiast. He enjoyed music of all kinds, dancing, hunting, and telling jokes. Eddie never met a stranger; his big personality and quick wit made him the life of the party. He was hardworking, strong, and always willing to lend a hand. Above all, Eddie loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart.

Eddie is survived by his siblings Lynette Poynter, Randy Calloway (Kathy), Patty Zimmerman (David), Tommy Conway, and JT Conway (Angie); his children Danyal Conway (Brandon Crawford), Terry Whitchway (Wendy), and Austin Conway (Destiny Morris); his grandchildren Bryson, Laekyn, Ella, Dakota, Madden, Fletcher, and Carrington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Tabitha White (Marcus), Jeffery Zimmerman (Brianna), Brandon Calloway, Chris Phillips, Chase Allen, Orion Allen, and Braiden Conway; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Conway I and Patricia Conway, and his brother John Conway.

Eddie will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. His legacy lives on in the love he shared and the memories he created.

A Celebration of Life Service for Eddie will be held 12:00PM, Saturday, January 17th, with visitation prior from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
