Edgar E. Bonar

98, World War II U.S. Army Veteran and retired mail carrier, passed away February 26, 2018. Edgar was born July 3, 1919 in LaHarpe, Kansas. He was a longtime Mason and belonged to the Albert Pike Lodge, Wichita Consistory and Shrine. Edgar was a loving husband, father and friend who will be greatly missed by friends and family. Edgar was preceded by parents; and siblings, Art Bonar and Lillian Coen; and nephew, Russell Dean Coen. He is survived by wife of 66 years, Edith Bonar; daughter, Carol (James O.) Lamb; brother, Vernon (Ann) Bonar; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 with visitation one hour prior at Resthaven Mortuary.
