Edna "Rosie" Rosaleen Metz

Edna "Rosie" Rosaleen Metz, age 99, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Rosie was born October 8, 1922 in Wichita, Kansas to Lydia May Cunningham and Joseph Walter Cunningham.

Rosie was a member of North Star No. 48 OES, Queen City Rebekah Lodge No. 521, and Golden Link No. 6 Amarath.

Rosie is survived by her grandchildren Tonya Owen (Guy), Joshua Metz (Beth), Jeremy Metz (Pam), Alex Metz; great grandchildren Peyton Owen, Sydney Nickell (Kyle) and Jacob Metz.

Rosie was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Henry Metz; son Larry Metz; daughter Georgalee Alvarez (Larry); father Joseph Walter Cunningham; mother Lydia May Cunningham; brothers Carl J Cunningham, William J Cunningham, Frank Cunningham, Otto Cunningham; sisters Zella F Cheppler, Maude Williams and May McCleary; and grandchild Chris Metz.

A visitation for Rosie will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM.

Rosie will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E 13Th St N, Wichita, KS 67206.
