NETH, Elisabeth Ruth, 82. Beloved mother and friend. Born in Michelfeld, Germany in 1932 to Albert Heinrich and Anna Margareta (Kreider) Fischer. She married US Army Pfc James Arlen Neth in Heidelberg, Germany in 1957. In 1964, the family moved to the United States, settling in Wichita, Kansas in 1967. Elisabeth retired from the City of Wichita custodial staff in 1997. Her outgoing personality, compassion, and generosity won her many friends and touched many hearts. She was predeceased by her husband, James. She is survived by her son, Dr. Michael J. Neth, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her sister, Renate Bender of Eschelbach, Germany; and her cousins, Irene (Kreider) Kelschenbach and Peter Kreider, also of Germany. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Wichita at 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, Kansas 67214; or, in recognition of her love for animals, to the ASPCA. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at Resthaven Mortuary.
