Evans, Ernie, 70, retired Air Force Master Sgt., passed away August 8, 2010. Ernie was a member of American Legion Mulvane Post 136. His survivors are wife Treva; son Eric (Connie) Evans; daughter Stacey (Michael) Wehner; step children Gregory (Cheryl) Scheikofsky and Shirley (Richard) Smith; brother Tom Reed; sister Joyce (David) Schlecht; granddaughter Lauren Wehner; 5 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday 6 to 8 pm at Resthaven Mortuary and funeral service is 10:00 am Wednesday, Aug. 11 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church. Memorials with Good Shepherd Hospice, American Legion Post 136 and Freewill Baptist Church Youth.
