Fernanda Ann Bouman, 88, of Kent City, Michigan passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior and was welcomed home by her parents, daughter Julia Ann Walters, her grandson Patrick Stephen Noles, her daughter Sheri Olstroem and her husband Brian “Jerry” Bouman. Ann and Jerry celebrated 40 years of marriage before his death October 2017.
Ann was a hard worker, retiring from Evans while providing for her family. She taught herself to crochet, knit, sew, canning, and cooking. She loved being outside and some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, bird watching and traveling. She was a woman of great faith and loved God deeply. She was very active at Camp Lake Baptist Church, her church home. In her later years she moved to Junction City, Kansas.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Kate DonLevy, sons Jerry (Devereux) Bouman, Mark (Joan) Bouman, 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Her sisters Judy (Micheal) Holman, Minnie Castillo, brother Santos Balberde and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held at Camp Lake Baptist Church at 11:00am on Saturday, December 27, 2025, 12150 N. Division Ave., Sparta, Michigan 49345.
