WICHITA- Frances I. Beck, 90, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016. She was born June 13, 1926 in Healing Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of George Washington and Ardieth Brown. She worked, as a young lady, at the canning factory in Lowell and Healing Springs, Arkansas. She married Albert Beck on June 19, 1943. They had two children, Norma Allen and George Beck. Frances worked as a home health care nurse from the early 1940's until she retired in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; son, George F. Beck; sister, Waynola Dorsey; daughter, Norma J. Allen; sister, Florence Gassling; parents, George and Ardieth Brown; three sisters and one brother. She is survived by sister, Faye (Elmo) Goates; brother, Eurvin (Bonnie) Brown; 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many family and friends. Visitation 12-4 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2016 and funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2016, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
