Frances L. Lambdin

Lambdin, Frances L., 84, passed away on Thursday 14 December 2017 in Wichita, KS. Frances met Donald E. Lambdin in 1950 and they married two years later in 1952. They had three children, Sterling S. Lambdin, Lisa L. Lambdin-Lang and Susanne L. Lambdin and were married for 65 years. While Donald attended law school at Oklahoma University (OU), Frances worked as the Assistant Secretary to the university's President. She went on to teach at McCollum Elementary School in Wichita for over 20 years. Frances was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Colonialists, and Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War. Frances was preceded by her parents, Luther O. Brickey and Loree F. Brickey; and son, Sterling. She is survived by her husband, Donald E.; her daughters, Lisa (John) and Susanne; grandson, Charles G. (Candace) Lambdin; granddaughters, Emily D. (Bradley) Brattin, Maeve K. (Jeremiah) Harvey, and Megan Lang; and 10 great grandchildren and 3 great- great grandchildren. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19th at Resthaven Mortuary and Memorial Service 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at West Heights United Methodist Church. Private family burial to follow in Caldwell, KS.
