Gary served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was proud to serve his country.
He was retired from the Tucson Fire Dept. and also was a member of IATSE Stagehands Local 415 in Tucson, Arizona where he was an electrician and set decorator for movies and TV shows. He worked with many movie stars throughout the years including the "Duke" John Wayne.
Gary was always a Bigger than Life presence and often the Life of the Party. He was a strong leader and took responsibility for bringing his children up in the Lord's teaching and living with Christian values. It was very important that all his family knew Jesus as their personal Savior. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who loved his family dearly.
