Gary was born February 15, 1949 in Great Bend, Kansas, a son of Galen Argene and Grace Verlee (Radke) Rogers.
Gary enjoyed 50 and 60’s oldies music and was introduced to the famous Brenda Lee which he was extremely proud of. He was an avid outdoorsman as he enjoyed gardening and landscaping. Gary was an official family historian and he was the go-to for any family related questions or updates.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brothers Ronnie and Donnie Rogers and his son, Anthony “Tony” Watt.
He is survived by his children Christina Heckman (Dale), Brandon Watt (Teresa), Darcy Trillo (Andrew); his brother Steve Rogers (Debbie); his sister Sheila Demetro; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Derby, Kansas. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place.
Private Family Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made out in Gary’s name to the American Heart Association.
