Geraldine (Jerry) Bupp, age 96, of Derby, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born August 7, 1927, to Jesse and Madge Allen in Wichita Kansas. She later married Chester Bupp on September 10, 1949. Together they raised four children, Mike, Larry, Susan, and Kathy. Jerry was a longtime faithful member of the Friendship Baptist church.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, Loving Husband, son Larry Bupp, 9 siblings, son-in-laws John Zalabak, and Lyle Specht, and grandson Kevin Bupp.
She is survived by her son Mike (Lorraine) Bupp of Wichita KS, daughters Susan (Kenneth) Bishop of Haysville KS, and Kathy Specht of Brandon CO, Sister Madge Wright of Junction City KS, 10 grandchildren, and a host of great- grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Geraldine will be held Friday, February 23, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 South Hydraulic, Wichita, KS 67211. A celebration of life will occur on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church, 2209 E. Pawnee, Wichita, KS 67211.
