

Gregg was born on March 20, 1968 to Harvey and Velma Rempel in Hutchinson, KS. After Gregg graduated from Central Christian School in 1986, he earned a degree as an Accountant from Friend’s University.
He enjoyed many activities and was a sports fanatic. He played tennis, baseball, softball, golf, and table tennis. He coached youth baseball and was a huge LA Dodgers fan and adored the Dallas Cowboys even having season tickets. Summers were spent at the lake, and winters on the slopes. Gregg was an adventurer.
Gregg started his first professional job as an accountant at Swindoll Janzen Hawk & Loyd in McPherson, KS, kick starting a 32-year career as an Accountant finally moving to Wichita in 2000.
In 1991, Gregg met Tanya in Hutchinson. Their love story is one for the history books as Gregg and Tanya were great examples of true love for each other and with Jesus Christ. In 2004, Jordan was born followed by Jacob in 2006.
Gregg was predeceased by his father, Harvey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Tanya Rempel of Wichita, KS; two children, Jordan and Jacob; loving mother, Velma Rempel of South Hutchinson, KS; half-brother Randy Rempel (Mark, children Nathan, Jeremiah); half-brother Barry Rempel (Joyce, children Traci, Pam); brother Jeff Rempel (Monica, children Monique, Erica); mother-in-law Mary Michel; sister-in-law Debra Koppes (Char Koppes, children Billy, Rhiana); sister-in-law Tricia Thompson (Larry, children Brooke, Cody) and countless family members and friends.
Visitation and Viewing for Greggory with family present will be held from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. on Friday (November 25th, 2022) at Pathway Christian Church Westlink Campus, 2001 North Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday (November 26th, 2022) at Pathway Christian Church Westlink Campus, 2001 North Maize Road, Wichita, Kansas 67212.
Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
One of Gregg’s final wishes is that people who attend wear Dallas Cowboys gear. In lieu of formal attire, please consider blue jeans and a Dallas Cowboys T-shirt.
One of Gregg’s last wishes was to ensure Tanya and the boys would not be financially burdened by medical and funeral expenses. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the family or in care of Pathway Christian Church Westlink Campus.
