Gregory Justin Godfrey, age 40, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025. Gregory was born September 21, 1984, in Lancaster, California to Debra Yingling Godfrey and Gregory Godfrey.
Gregory served honorably in the United States Air Force and and was proud to be a firefighter for the
McConnell AFB Fire Department.
Gregory enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, playing video games, traveling, and especially spending time with his family. His interests included firefighting, serving at church, serving the Lord, and taking care of his family.
Gregory's smiles were often and contagious and he will be greatly missed.
Gregory is survived by his wife, Trisha Nguyen Godfrey; father Gregory Godfrey; mother Debra Yingling Godfrey; children Lina Ngoc Nguyen, Ricky Hoang Nguyen, and Levia My Godfrey; siblings Cara Godfrey, Micaela Sierra (Richard), and Nicolas Godfrey; and grandmother Mary Yingling.
A Celebration of Life for Gregory will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206.
