Harry "Sonny" Chapman Sutton

Harry "Sonny" Chapman Sutton, 83, passed away from COPD on December 1, 2018. Retired sales/management/computer engineer with Burroughs/Unisys Corp. Harry was a long time member of First United Methodist Church and participated in the Double Ring Sunday School Class. He was a member of Friendship Force, was involved with the Emmaus Bread of Life Community and hosted many foreign exchange students in his home. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Maureen, parents, Harry and Mildred Sutton, and sisters, Anne Ellen Bernier and Adrienne Swanson. Harry is survived by his son, Timothy (Alice) Sutton; daughter, Kathy (Gary) Bond; grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Suarez, Victoria and Jonathan Sutton, Michael and Christopher Bond, and Alicia Bailey; great grandchildren, Kynrik White, Caroline Bailey, Audrey Bailey, Ethan Bailey and Noah Bailey; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Mortuary on Wednesday, December 5 from 5-7 PM and funeral service at First United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 6 at 2:00 PM.
