Helen Louise (Schembera) Clevenger

Helen Louise (Schembera) Clevenger, age 82, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025. Helen was born February 21, 1943, in Webb City, Missouri to Iva Rene Foxworthy Snell and James Ignatz Schembera.

Helen is survived by her son-in-law Leonard Joe Irwin; sister-in-law Betty Schembera; 2 grandchildren; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Carl Clevenger; daughter Carla Irwin; son Michael Clevenger; father James Ignatz Schembera; mother Iva Rene Foxworthy; and brother David Schembra.

A Visitation for Helen will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH ST N, Wichita, KS 67206, followed by a Rosary and Mass at 2:00 PM.
