

Helen M. Pfeifer, 95, retired sheet metal assembler for Cessna and Boeing Aircraft passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012. Helen was a sister, a wife, a mother and more. She was the matriarch of an entire family, the glue that held together generations of her descendants. She was a woman who enjoyed little things like bingo and daytime television. The things she really cared about, though, stayed with her through her final days. She was a woman who treasured above all things her home in Victoria, Kansas, her expansive family, and her Catholic faith. Helen’s life ended peacefully surrounded by many members of her family and many of her pictures and possessions that brought her comfort in life.
Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Ben, son Bernie, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survived by daughters Norma (Steve) Kane of Spring, TX, Helen (Al) Smyth of Wichita, KS, Anna “Annie” Glover of Wichita, KS, Francie (Leo) Courtois of Valley Center, KS, Theresa (Gary) Wright of Clearwater, KS, brother John Arnhold of Grand Junction, CO, sister Juanita Hoffman of West Minister, CO, 25 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Rosary 7pm, Thurs. Dec. 13th , Funeral Mass, 10am, Fri. Dec. 14th both at St. Peter-Schulte with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send memorial to Good Shepherd Hospice, 439 N. McLean Blvd. Ste 100, Wichita, KS 67203.
