Johnson Jr., Howard A., passed away on December 7, 2016, at age 94. He was born in Burlington, KS on October 9, 1922 to Howard A. Johnson and Ruth L. Howard. He worked at Beech Aircraft from 1953-1988 as a machinist. Howard always loved his tractor work mowing and plowing gardens on the north end, after retiring he really put it to work. Howard and Rose A. Shay were married June 6, 1948 and they had 4 children, survived by Janice Schultz, Debara (Chris) Cave, Harry Christopher (Jennifer) Johnson and 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Luella Malloy, Elizabeth (Jay) McGee and Darlene (Carl) Smith. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Rosetta Lawson, son Howard A. Johnson III and son-in-law Greg Schultz. Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2016 at Lakeview, from 6pm to 7pm and on Tuesday, Dec. 13 from 9am to 10am. Service Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 10am. Dignity Celebrant Cyndi Pearce Officiating.
