Howard Omar Sheldon 97, United States Army WWII Veteran, passed away March 27, 2017. He retired from Boeing in 1984 after 26 years with the company. Howard was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed by many. He was preceded by wife of 65 years, Eleanor Sheldon; parents, Milton and Sadie Sheldon; siblings, Wilson, Morris, Walter, Albertha and Martha. Howard is survived by daughter, Teresa Simmons; sons, Bruce (Robin) Sheldon and Perry (Tammy) Sheldon; sister, Lavonne Paterson and Lula Gardner; grandchildren, Melissa (Marco) Gonzales, Neil (Valerie) Simmons, Chris (Mara) Simmons, Amanda (Chris) Benck, and Grant Sheldon; and great grandchildren, Sabrina, Jarrod, Lillian, Kelsey, Carson and Mason. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 and Celebration of Life Service 3 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
