91, passed away on February 18, 2017. Jack was born August 14, 1925 to Enos and Margaret Garren. Jack served in the Army, was the owner of Echo Hills Golf Course from 1955 to 1972, former member of the Wichita Lions Club, had his private pilot's license, retired from Beech Aircraft, and was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. Jack is survived by his sons, Larry (Susan) Garren and Kevin (Julie) Garren; daughters, Connie Minton and Lindy (Charlie) Hobbs; brothers, Tom (Patty) Garren and Paul (Linda) Garren; sister, Wanda (Bill) Simmons; grandchildren, Leslie (Josh) Kimble, Lauren Garren, Sarah (James) Owens, Chris (Caitlin) Garren, Michael (Lisa) Harrelson, and Chris and Beth Simpson. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 12:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm, both at Resthaven Mortuary.
