James worked as security guard.
James found joy in simple, meaningful moments. He enjoyed sci-fi and horror movies, drawing, playing board games, and watching the Chiefs play. James especially cherished watching movies and TV shows with his kids, sharing laughter and excitement. He also enjoyed going to parks to spend time, and just driving around town.
James was connected to Antioch Christian Church.
James was preceded in death by parents, David and Helen Estill.
James is survived by sister, Barbara Estill; sister, Carolyn Wood; son, Jeremiah Estill; and daughter, Lacy Estill.
A Committal Service will be held at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209, on April 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
