She is now home with the Lord having committed her life to Jesus Christ when she was 14 years old. Janice loved the Word of God and was an amazing Bible teacher for all different age groups for many years. She lived her faith every day and reflected Jesus to everyone who knew her. She made sure to pray for her family, specifically naming them one by one each day. Deuteronomy 7:9 says: "Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His faithfulness to a thousand generations for those who love Him and keep His commandments." Her family was and is greatly blessed because of Janice's faithfulness to teach her family about the Lord and His matchless grace.
Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Charles Whitcomb; son, Randall Whitcomb; brothers, Robert Hosier, Delbert Hosier, and Jewell Hosier; and sister, Merrillee Soderstrom.
She is survived by her son, David (Joetta) Whitcomb; daughter, Linda (Curtis) Nelson; daughter in-law Rita Whitcomb; grandchildren, Katie (Matt) Conner, Stephanie (Matt) Clark, Andrew (Lauren) Nelson, Kevin (Trisha) Whitcomb, Staci (Layne) Frick, Lindsay (Dave) Hassell, and Courtney (Austin) Foss; and 12 great-grandchildren, Jace and Emerson Conner, Aubyn and Anya Clark, A.J. and Kyle Nelson, Quinn and Jordan Whitcomb, Taylin and Anisten Frick, and Olivia and Camp Hassell.
