Jeanice passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025 in Wichita Kansas. She was born to Nate and Sophie Berens in Victoria, Kansas on November 4, 1938. She had six siblings, Alvera Vail, Leroy Berens, Jim Berens, Linus Berens, Denis Berens and Manire Berens.
Jeanice enjoyed quilting, water aerobics, pickle ball and bingo. She attended St. Anne’s church.
Jeanice was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Linus Berens, Denis Berens and Manire Berens; and Keray Finn. She is survived by son, Tim (Teresa) Koster; daughter, Tamara Finn; and stepdaughters, Tammi (Rass) Williams and Kathy (Jon) Kalb; many nieces and nephews; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 9:30 am at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Hwy 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209, with funeral services to follow. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S Market St, Wichita, KS 67202.
