Preferring the appellation JD, she was a social butterfly, not satisfied unless she was the center of attention, or at least could see and approve of the activity around her, and would flirt with everyone with large beautiful brown eyes, and a winning smile. Whether in her wheelchair, or in a van, she was unsatisfied unless the ride was bumpy, and fast, expressing her displeasure loudly at red lights. She enjoyed watching action on TV as well, loving NCIS, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. Laughing at a sneeze, barring your way with an arm outstretched if you failed to pay her the attention she demanded, she had a definite ornery streak.
JD also loved having her grandma, Caroline as a caretaker, and would boss her endlessly, be it demanding attention, or making it clear that grandma was to leave the room for a while. When the weather was nice she would insist on grandma taking her for walks, often with her sister, and nephews for her entourage. With her light, warmth, and charm, she won over everyone she met, an Angel to all.
Preceded in death by her great-grandma, Marvel Armstrong; grandfather, Brad Armstrong; uncle, Jerry; and great-grandmother, Geraldine Arnold.
JD is survived by her parents, Tanya and Robert Schroeder; sisters, Tanya Crouse (Matthew) and Shannon Cully; her “Little Brother”, Michael Schroeder; nephews, Lewis, James and Kristopher Crouse; grandmothers, Caroline Armstrong and LaQueta Schroeder; grandfather, Bill Cully; aunts and uncles, Roseanna & Kelly Gosvener and Sandy & Chuck Siruta; cousins, Tiffany, Nick, Kelly, Brian (Gosvener) and Elana Siruta; plus many other friends and family who will miss her greatly.
