Joe was known for always lending a helping hand and was loved by everyone who met him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening with his family and friends. He looked forward to Memorial Day weekend cookouts at his house where all the family got together. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, especially at their sporting events. For his retirement he spent a lot of time camping at the lake with family.
He is preceded in death by his siblings: Ruth Davis, Margaret McCloud, Doyle Alexander, and Robert Alexander.
Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years Doris Alexander; sister Juanita Randall; son Mark (Rachel) Alexander; daughter Michelle (Paul) Schueneman; son Brian (Kristie) Alexander; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation with family present will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
Funeral Services will be Friday, May 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Mortuary with a graveside service to follow.
